Private Rota Chef

International, UHNW family require experienced Private Chef to produce first class Mediterranean/Italian cuisine.
 
This is a rota position, working four months on (six days per week), four months off.  Accommodation will be provided whilst on duty.
 
Predominantly based in California, this job will also involve international travel (mostly to Italy and the Caribbean).
 
For working in the States, the family will assist in obtaining a B1 visa.  An EU passport holder would be preferred.
 
Duties

• Producing healthy, Mediterranean/Italian meals, tailored to the specific dietary requirements of the principals.
• Menu development and planning
• Using fresh, organic, high-quality produce, sourced internationally.

 
Requirements

• All applicants must have extensive private household chef experience at UHNW level
• A proficient understanding of healthy, organic, Mediterranean cuisine, particularly Italian.
• Experience in accommodating a variety of dietary requirements and allergies
• Willing to travel extensively with the family
• Happy to work as part of a team in a formal, UHNW private household
• Hold a valid driving licence

Accommodation: 5 star hotel plus expenses
 
Working six days per week when on duty. Approximate working hours 09:00-19:30 (with some earlier starts and later finishes when necessary)
 
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 DOE, plus hotel accommodation (when on duty) and expenses
